Millennium Reign Energy LLC (MRE), located in Englewood, Ohio has been developing products to build the hydrogen fueling infrastructure for the past 8 years. This demonstration will showcase MRE’s hydrogen production appliance called the AutoARK® (a patent pending, automated, passive alkaline water electrolysis unit that co-generates heat) as well as its one-of-a-kind proprietary Scalable Hydrogen Fueling Appliance (SHFA) that compresses, stores and dispenses hydrogen into vehicles.

The Chevrolet Fuel Cell vehicle is one of a fleet of over 100 fuel cell vehicles that GM has had on the road in a trial program called Project Driveway since 2007 with over 2 million miles logged.

The two companies’ products will show that this combination of infrastructure and vehicle technologies is here and ready now. Through education and live demonstration, MRE hopes to gain consideration from consumers, businesses and government for deployment of its hydrogen production and dispensing technologies.

This event will provide the chance to see hydrogen production and fueling and to experience a fuel cell vehicle. As part of the education we will show how fuel cell based forklifts are also a reality now.

Building hydrogen infrastructure is critical. Gasoline prices are high and looking to go even higher due to global oil production constraints and sharply increasing demand in China and India. The timing is right to begin changing our transportation fuel sources. MRE’s hydrogen generators are essential in that they can make hydrogen cost effectively and run off of electricity produced from renewable sources. The Dull Homestead is a unique facility with wind and solar driving MRE’s AutoARK® and SHFA. The AutoARK® also uses waste heat to assist in heating the building with a heat exchanger. Renewable hydrogen is a green and sustainable fuel source, and building the future hydrogen infrastructure could provide thousands of green jobs in the Dayton area while transitioning to an environmentally friendly fuel.
