Designs hydrogen mechanical systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
Duties
Operate, support, upgrade and maintain hydrogen fueling units (M200, M4, and M470 models) including regular testing and troubleshooting system components.
Conduct detailed performance calculations (fueling capacity, flow, density, SCFM, CFM, and mass flow rates) to assess unit performance and support maintenance planning.
Perform heat loss analyses; recommend and implement insulation solutions (e.g., heat tape) for freeze protection.
Design and implement diagnostic tools, including calculators for flow monitoring, mass production and dispensing.
Create and update work instructions, maintenance procedures and customer-facing documents.
Design and documentation of Hydrogen fueling station P&ID documents
Design certain balance of plant subsystems for hydrogen purification.
Requirements / Qualifications
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
1-2 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
1-2 years of experience with Hydrogen electrolyzer and / or related systems.
